Information Collection and Use
We collect, monitor and store the following information, which is commonly referred to as “traffic pattern” information:
(1) The domain name that has accessed our Web site (for example, if you subscribe to America Online, we would know that someone from AOL has accessed our site, but we would not know which of the millions of AOL users actually accessed our Web site);
(2) The date and time our Web site has been accessed;
(3) The number of visits we have to our Web site; and
(4) The Internet address of the last Web site displayed on your screen prior to accessing our Web site.
Additionally, we value and welcome your comments and suggestions. If you do decide to e-mail us, it is important for you to know that it is likely that you will intentionally, or perhaps inadvertently, send Personal Information. This information will allow us to respond appropriately, if a response is in fact necessary. Also, if we collect, any information, such as name, e-mail address, postal address, phone number and other domain related information not mentioned above, you will always know when we are collecting this information, and disclosure is always voluntary.
How do we use the Personal Information we collect?
First, and most importantly, we do not trade, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise share Personal Information with outside parties.
Second, any Personal Information that is disclosed is done so voluntarily. Occasionally when we collect names, postal addresses, phone numbers and domain-related information we use this information for our own internal business purposes and to support your personal usage of various products and services.
Finally, if you identify yourself or provide Personal Information by submitting a comment or sending us an e-mail message, we use this information to respond to your comments, concerns, suggestions, questions or requests for information. Additionally, we may also use this information for our own internal business and marketing purposes.
What about cookies?
A “Cookie” is a message given to your Web browser by a Web server. Your browser stores this message in a file created by your browser (the name of the cookie file is dependent on the browser you are using). The message is then sent back to the sending server each time you visit an etechmanual.com web site. The main purpose of a cookie (or cookies as they are commonly referred to) is to identify users for the purpose of preparing customized Web pages.
For example, if you have voluntarily given us Personal Information, and we send a cookie to your browser, we can then provide you with custom information each time you visit one of our Web sites. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change the settings on your browser to prevent cookies from being accepted. If you do choose to prevent us from sending cookies to your browser, you can still use some of the features on our Web site, but may be unable to use features enabled by cookies.

Notwithstanding the above, we reserve the right to disclose Personal Information if required to operate or maintain our systems, or pursuant to a court order, subpoena or similar request.

At some of our sites, we offer interactive and community features such as discussion boards and user profiles. Note that all personal information sent or posted via such features becomes public information for which we are not responsible.

RBHall Associates, LLC will store and use this information to send the friend an invitation. This information may also be used to provide information about our company and related products and services. The friend may contact us as specified in the tell-a-friend message to request that no further communications be sent.
Communications with Us
We have features where our customers can submit information to us (such as our feedback forms). Where such submissions include requests for service, support or information, we may forward them to our agents, as needed, to best respond to the specific request. In addition, we may retain e-mails and other information sent to us for our internal administrative purposes and to help us to serve customers better.
Automatic Data Collection
Our web sites, newsletters and, from time to time, certain other products and services have features that automatically collect information from customers, to deliver content specific to customers’ interests and to honor their preferences. This information assists us in creating products and services that will serve the needs of our customers. For example, we use “cookies,” a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Cookies benefit the user by requiring login only once, thereby saving time while on our web site. If users reject the cookies, they may be limited in the use of some areas of our web site. For example, the user may not be able to participate in sweepstakes, contests or drawings. Additionally, we may note some of the pages the user visits on our web sites and via our email newsletters through the use of pixel tags (also called clear gifs) and web beacons.
Our web sites contain links to other sites. RBHall Associates, LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each web site to which we may link that may collect personally identifiable information.

If information which you have submitted to us changes or if you no longer desire our product(s)/service(s), we provide a way to correct or update your personal data: you may either contact Customer Support for the applicable product or service or use the instructions and links on the Preference Page.
